JEDCO signs Tripartite Collaboration Agreement as we bring our West-Coast-FIRST-Initiative into Singapore
The Directors of Joint Efficient Developments Consultancy (JEDCO) are pleased to confirm the signing of a Collaboration Agreement with Dyna-Mac Engineering Services Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. The first of two planned agreements, this contract provides us with the vehicle to support Feasibility and Strategy discussions on a joint proposal for an immediate infrastructure opportunity in British Columbia, which we are working in collaboration with our strategic partner Meridian Marine Industries Inc. This cross-border alliance not only adds value to the JEDCO business model, but is of strategic importance to our long-term commitment to the West-Coast-FIRST-Initiative in Canada.
A separate Collaboration Framework with Dyna-Mac is also imminent, once in place this agreement will allow us to move forward with other opportunities in Canada with Meridian Marine, as well as other project and investment prospects which the JEDCO team are developing in Singapore and surrounding regions.
As part of this collaboration our joint stakeholder and execution teams will be opening the doors to project offices located at Dyna-Mac’s West Yard at Pandan Crescent in Singapore. This tried and tested facility offers a total landed area of 30,100 sqm, Fabrication and Assembly Area (open) of 16,400 sqm, a covered workshop of 5,300 sqm and 1,181 sqm of Air-conditioned workshop.
Our teams will be housed in the main building which has a total of 6,714 sqm, which will provide adequate space to support Dyna-Mac and JEDCO’s incumbent contracts, which we are in the process of securing through JEDCO’s Solution Partnering model.
JEDCO’s short-term strategy through the Dyna-Mac and Meridian alliance, is to provide access to an execution model which our Canadian partner and customers will benefit in the provision of engineering, procurement services, fabrication, assembly and pre-commissioning of packages for the onshore and offshore energy, marine and infrastructure industries. A cost-effective model that delivers value, at the same time maximises local content in West Coast Canada.
Our medium-term commitment is ongoing support and knowledge transfer back to Meridian Marine, as we jointly enhance their drive to increase local capacity in British Columbia.
The longer-term strategy through the consortium is to create an end to end business model in Vancouver and Vancouver Island, which other national project investments in Canada can access and benefit from in the future.
