Qube Press Release

Contract Award

Project Management Consultancy Services

The Directors of JEDCO are pleased to confirm the recent award of a PMC services contract with  Qube International, a major milestone in our strategic collaboration with the multi-billion-dollar Australian company here in Asia.

JEDCO have been providing technical and commercial consultancy services since early 2019, and in November signed a Collaboration Agreement to progress and support Qube’s ongoing business development efforts, as they capitalise on their first phase investment at facilities across Asia, including the greenfield Bintan Offshore Marine Centre (BOMC) in Indonesia.

Our management teams have developed an overarching philosophy and execution model, paving the way for multi-million-dollars’ worth of potential contracts scheduled to commence through H1 2020.  These scopes will be delivered through the utilisation of integrated Project Management and Site Supervision processes and teams, complemented through the adoption of JEDCO’s Solution Partnering methodologies and alliances.

Qube also have direct access and leverage from JEDCO’s sister company, Reference Marine International, for more marine based projects, including a potential LNG conversion scope which our teams are currently contracted to carry out early development works on behalf of the owner in Asia.

Mort Daly – Director, Qube International and BOMC.

Qube and BOMC’s value-proposition is to provide clients access to a greenfield ecosystem in Riau Islands.

The services to be provided to Qube through this agreement complements our existing systems and infrastructure, as well as gives access to the additional people and processes required for Qube to successfully and sustainably deliver on our project commitments to clients and partners, now and in the future.”

Darren McLean – Executive Director, Commercial (JEDCO)

A huge thanks to Qube, BOMC and our fully invested alliances for their continued support of JEDCO’s Solution Partnering business model.  This new contract provides the platform to dive deeper into ongoing studies and campaigns across several key focus areas, including, Quality and Safety assessments and procedure enhancement, qualification and specification of project requirements, time and cost estimating modelling, in addition to the full integration of fit for purpose managerial processes, resourcing strategies, systems and infrastructure.

Our near-term focus is to continue to strengthen our trusted collaboration with Qube, as we work hand in hand with our collective clients, to qualify and tailor the execution strategies that will allow us to successfully deliver on these upcoming scopes.  The mid to longer-term commitment to our clients, is to work together with Qube, BOMC stakeholders and partners, to develop solutions that add real value to projects, and deliver sustainable returns to all invested stakeholders.”

Craig Bennett – Executive Director, Technical (JEDCO)

This new PMC contract has been the culmination of hard work from the ‘One Team’ approach, and JEDCO is now fully embedded into the QUBE/BOMC Eco System.  Not only will we work together to maximise Projects in BOMC, we will look to maximise efficiencies and optimise output through the use of Project Risk Assurance.

The transparency of Project Risk Assurance enables visibility into key project risks, coordination among stakeholders for the management and mitigation of those risks, and ongoing monitoring that not only improves the risk management process and governance, but also creates value through improved operational performance in our increasingly risky project environments.   Using this philosophy from concept through to operations, and not just through the project execution phase, will help increase value to our customers, with the added comfort of no hidden costs.”
